Swan is the most community-rooted Bitcoin exchange we cover, and that shows up in the product: it sells only Bitcoin, it automates buying a set amount on a schedule, and it folds plain-language education in as you go - genuinely helpful if you are still finding your footing. Compared with River, the trade-offs are that you cannot withdraw over Lightning (the fast, low-fee Bitcoin payment layer), and the fees run slightly higher.
